Newport Beach Becomes Global Beach Volleyball Capital Oct. 7–12
10.02.25
Beach volleyball’s global homecoming arrives in Newport Beach from Oct. 7 to 12, featuring international and American superstars, Olympians, and legends competing for the world’s largest single-week prize purse of $550,000. VIP and “Sand Suite” tickets are available now at nbvolleyball.com.
The program includes Sunday’s $250,000 Newport Beach Volleyball Invitational, where U.S. Olympians Phil Dalhausser, Taylor Crabb, Kelly Cheng, and Kristen Nuss will lead four-man teams in one of the sport’s most grueling single-day brackets. That event follows the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Elite 16, a five-day competition taking place Oct. 7 to 11, with a $300,000 payout divided equally between men and women.
Eagle Four Partners and USA Volleyball are teaming up for the first time with Volleyball World and the FIVB to present the sport’s most exclusive event. With the Los Angeles Olympic Games approaching in 2028, the governing bodies are showcasing beach volleyball’s best in its birthplace. This marks the first elite-level international tour stop in the United States since 2018, reflecting a shared commitment to raise awareness and build momentum for the sport.
Fans can purchase VIP and “Sand Suite” tickets at nbvolleyball.com. Complimentary seating on the sand will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis along the Newport Beach shoreline.
